Let’s take care of our citizens first!
If you spent any time at all watching the Democratic debate or the media frenzy after it you may have come to the conclusion that immigration was the top subject of those debates.
In an after the debate speech one of the candidates, I wished I could remember which one, said that we need to expand Medicare to cover all illegal immigrants because some may be carrying contagious diseases and that with treatment here, the spread of that contagious disease would be stopped before it spread into the general population.
I wonder who is the dummy here? If we stopped them at the border, they would not get in to spread that contagious disease. That brings me to wonder how many American citizens there are now that are not covered by some sort of health care insurance. If those Democrats were really concerned about the health of the people of this nation, they would bring a program forward that will work for all. But, apparently, they are just interested in covering those who are here illegally.
It only makes sense to me that at the border, all people should be checked health wise before they are allowed to enter. So if we stopped all illegals, we would not have to plan to make free health coverage for them. My great grandparents came to this country over a hundred years ago and as far as I can tell they did not get anything free. And, they were legal immigrants, and they had to denounce their allegiance to the king of Norway.
How many illegal aliens are in this country at present. I have seen estimates as high as 29 million. And, that my friends is why the Democratic Party wants to cater to them and let them vote so they can turn this country into a socialist land.
Turning our attention to another hot story that centers around the football player, Colin Kaepernick. If you remember, he would not stand for the national anthem played before the game and now he has got Nike to take their shoes off the market, the ones with the Betsy Ross flag displayed on the back of the shoe. I hope everyone knows who Betsy Ross is or was.
Over the Fourth of July weekend I saw a T-shirt that read, “I stand for the flag, kneel for the cross.”
