Memorial Service for Swanhild Rasmussen set for Sept. 23

Swanhild Rasmussen was born January 12, 1924, to Sophus and Clara (Sundby) Noer. She lived most of her life in the Sand Creek area until moving to Friendsville, Maryland, to be with her daughter and husband, Carol and John Squires. Swanhild married Carl Rasmussen who preceded her in death. She passed away on February 20, 2017, in Maryland.

Memorial services are planned for Saturday, September 23, 2017, at The Olde School in Sand Creek, Wisconsin. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. at the Zion Cemetery in Sand Creek. Visitation at The Olde School will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 2 p.m.

Swanhild had a deep faith and was a true prayer warrior. She was a member of Independent Bible Church in Sand Creek before moving to Maryland.
