LINDA FAYE ELWOOD-BAUTSCH

Linda Faye Elwood-Bautch, age 66, of Colfax, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Colfax Health and Rehab. 

Linda was born on May 13, 1951, in Rice Lake, to George and Edna (Prater) Elwood. She had several occupations through her years. Most recently she worked at Ceva until her retirement. Linda married Rich Bautch on September 17, 2012. She enjoyed canning, baking, fishing, knitting, and the show “Days of Our Lives”.

She is survived by her husband, Rich Bautch of Colfax; children, Teresa (Wayne) Ecklor of Hillsdale, WI, Lisa Dennis of Boyceville, Jenny (Jason) Clark of Chetek, WI, John Postle Jr. of Orlando, FL; brothers, Bill (Connie) Elwood and Ray (Sarie) Elwood; Monica (Aaron) Holten, Ashley (Jared) Vroman, Wayne Ecklor Jr., Robert Ecklor – US Airforce, Italy, Jazmine (Paul) Prengel, Kayla, Kristina, and Kendra Dennis, Tanner (Lacie) Postle, Jaydon Clark, and Christopher and Cole Postle; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.

Linda is further survived by her two special friends who were always there for her, Rhonda Johnson and Mary Emerson. 

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Stokes; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service was held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Sampson Funeral Home, 1017 Railroad Ave, Colfax, with Leslie Walck officiating. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
