AMY R. CARESS KAHLER

Amy R. Caress Kahler, age 42, of Glenwood City, WI died Tuesday November 1, 2016 at her home with hospice.

Amy was born November 14, 1973 in Hudson, Wi to James and Janice (Booth) Caress.

Amy attended school in Glenwood City, WI where she graduated in 1992. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Stout in Dietetics. She worked as a registered Dietitian at Gillette Specialty Health Care in St. Paul, MN.

Amy was a devoted mother whose life revolved around her family and friends.

Amy is preceded in death by her father James Caress, stepfather Garry Hanson, maternal and paternal grandparents, Cassius and Vivian Booth and John and Mary Caress.

Amy is survived by her children Bailey and Max Kahler, Mother Janice Caress Hanson, brothers Tom Caress and David (Brandi) Caress; nieces and nephew Samantha and Steph Caress, Brooklyn, Madison and Harper Caress and Darrell Wold; great-nephew Grady Pellet; grandparents Bob and Mary Hanson. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016 at St. John’s Catholic Church with Father John Long as celebrant. Interment was in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Tom and David Caress, Holly Olson, Rita Thorson, Rick Booth and Brandi Caress, and honorary pallbearers were Stacia DeWitt and Stephanie Campbell. Friends were able to call at the church on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior Monday at church. Anderson Funeral Home of Glenwood City is assisting the family.
