2016 Boyceville Cucumber Run results listed

BOYCEVILLE — Six individuals captured the coveted, handmade Pickle statue as division winners in the 16th annual Cucumber Run held Saturday morning, August 20 during the 2016 Cucumber Festival in Boyceville.

Nearly 90 runners competed in this year’s event that was run between rain showers. Competitors began and finished in front of the Boyceville Middle School/High School Building on Tiffany Street.

The top three winners in the 1 mile, 5 K and 10 K races were as follows.

1 mile run/walk males: 1st – Parker Coombs, 8:29; 2nd – Clark Taylor, 9:20; and 3rd – Jason Malcore, 18:10. 1 mile run/walk female: 1st – Caitlin Boda, 10:57; 2nd – Amber Boda, 10:59; and 3rd – Bekah Bouton, 15:15.

5K run/walk males: 1st – Rian Corr, 19:45; 2nd – Zach Klassen, 20:23; and 3rd – Nathan Corr, 21:22. 5K run/walk females: 1st – Shiann Wagner, 22:37; 2nd – Shanon Windsor, 25:17; and 3rd – Alex Wold, 25:51.

10K run/walk males: 1. Tanner Johnson-Hetchler, 40:49; 2nd – Max Engel, 42:59; and 3rd – Toby Schmitt, 45:54. 10K run/walk females: 1st – Amy Gove, 51:14; 2nd – Patsy Taylor, 51:46; and 3rd – Tiffany Gregg, 53:33.
