ELEANOR JEAN WIENKE

Eleanor Jean Wienke, age 80, died on February 22, 2016.

Jean was born in Rensselaer, Indiana and graduated from Reynolds High School. She attended El Bethel Methodist Church in Conway. Jean had been a Medical Transcriptionist for many years before she was forced into retirement because of ill health. Jean married Wayne Wienke of Glenwood City, Wisconsin on August 10, 1974 and lived in Wisconsin for five years before moving back to Indiana, where she and Wayne lived until their moving to South Carolina. The other two loves of Jean’s life were her daughter, Connie McKinney and grandson, Zachary Cottrell. Jean enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Surviving are one sister, Morna Pass; brothers, Lyle, Art and Ray Ziemer and many other family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Harry and Stella Ziemer and her husband, Wayne L. Wienke.

There will be no services.
