Warren “Pork” B. Olson, age 89, of New Haven Township passed away on Monday, November 25th 2024 at The Neighbors of Dunn County in Menomonie, WI.

Warren was born August 7th 1935 in Connorsville, WI to Clyde and Muriel (Williams) Olson. Following his schooling, he served in the US Army, then went into farming and carpentry work.  Warren married Carol Dinnies on February 22, 1958. Together, they had a dairy farm while he worked with Wold Construction. Warren built many homes in the area and he later enjoyed recalling the years they were built when going for drives with his family along the countryside. Warren later became the manager of the lumberyard in Boyceville until its closing. He enjoyed his life on the dairy farm and loved seeing it become the center place for his children and grandchildren to grow up. In his spare time, Pork enjoyed deer hunting, watching sports and spending time with his family. He had the kindest heart and helped anyone who needed it.

Warren is survived by his children, Darlene (Kerby) Lee, Diane (Kelly) Helland, and Steve (Angie) Olson; grandchildren, Curt Nelson (Susan Dusek), Natalie Nelson (Dustin Tiffany), Keith Nelson, Rachel Helland (Gage Martin), Brady Helland (Jocelyn Wilson), Megan Olson (Devin Klatt), Nick Olson; and great-grandchildren, Steven, Grace, and Jack Nelson, Cayden and Caeleigh Tiffany. Sister Merriam Showers. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Warren is preceded in death by his parents, wife Carol, brothers Dennis and Harlan, son-in-law Steve Nelson, sisters-in-law Marianne Gilbertson, Anita Jicha and Maryles Olson, and brothers-in-law Bud Gilbertson, Leonard Jicha and Tom Showers.

Services were held Saturday November 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Connorsville, WI with Pastor Gregory Becker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Following the service, a Celebration of Life for Pork was held from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the New Haven Town Hall in Connorsville.

Anderson Funeral Home of Glenwood City is assisted the family with arrangements.
