Rebecca (Becky) Anne Rodgers

Fondly known to us, Becky joined her family in the loving arms of our Lord on October 15th, 2024, at Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.

Born April 4th, 1949, at Frederic Hospital to Gordon and Helen (Bergren) Rogers. Raised with her older brother Brian in Frederic where she attended school and graduated in the Class of 1967. From there she attended Polk County Teachers College in Frederic. After graduation she chose to start her career in the Boyceville Area School District teaching elementary students, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Becky remained there until her retirement.

After retirement she filled her days with many many activities. She loved reading and doing many sorts of puzzles – crosswords, jigsaw, and mind puzzles. Becky took advantage of the classes that the Chippewa Valley Learning in Retirement offered. Other interests were, going to see plays, watching movies, casinos trips, and napping! She also took many bus trips to see the country and meet new friends. Becky was blessed to have so many wonderful friends, which she loved getting together with for lunch or just visiting with them on the phone. If you knew Becky, you knew that her faith was important to her and she enjoyed going to bible study.

Becky leaves to mourn, cousins and many, many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Boyceville, WI, with burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery at Long Lake friends may call at the church one hour prior. Becky will be laid to rest next to her parents. May she rest in peace.
