In a carry over item from the June meeting of the Boyceville Village Board was the appointment for the open seat on the Village Board.
Village President Lukas Montgomery noted that several names had been brought up during that June meeting and that he was ready to appoint Keith Sorensen to fill the open seat. He also asked other board members if they had another nomination, but none were offered. The board voted unanimously to have Sorensen take the open seat.
The seat was left open by the resignation of Laura Kincade, who moved out of the village. Sorensen will serve until the election next April.
