The veterans of Russell Toycen American Legion Post 131 of Colfax held a military funeral for Eugene H. “Gene” Ziebell November 9, 2019, at Colfax Evergreen Cemetery.

Those serving on the firing squad were Kathy Walters, Dick Larson, “Happy” Silva, Roger Knutson, Tarry Turner, Jamie Roho and Cole Truslow.

Legionnaires in the color guard were Alan Johnson and Gust Fehr.

The flag was presented to Wesley (son) by Post Commander Chris Larson.
