Kimberly Kay Kahler, 64, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at Oakwood Health Services in Altoona, Wisconsin, on September 5, 2025, with family by her side.
Kim was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, in 1961, to John and Arlys (Evenson) Kahler. She was the first of four children. Kim’s generosity was measured not in wealth, but in kindness, laughter, and the comfort she offered others. Her generosity and warm heart touched many lives, and she made friends easily, even to the end.
Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Galvin and Ethel (Tuttle) Evenson, Vincent (Marcel) and Florence (Delage) Kahler, her uncle Jeff Evenson, Ed Kahler, Jerry Johnson, and Jim McNamara.
She is survived by her parents, John and Arlys (Evenson) Kahler; Brother Kenneth (Susan) Kahler, Sister Laurie Kahler, and Brother Scott Kahler; her daughters Lindsey (David) Schaeppi and Brittney (Matt) Monfeldt; grandchildren Bonnie, Madyllan, Elizabeth, and Olivia; nieces Nicole (Wayne) Putnam, Alisha (Brad) Lampert, and Katlyn (Brian) Broszko; nephews Tony (Anthony) Bous, Eric Kahler, Daniel (Mena) Kahler, Joe Kahler, and Nathan Kahler; as well as many great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 21st.
A visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. and Service at 2:00 p.m.
