RANDOLPH K. (RANDY) DE MOE

Randolph K. (Randy) De Moe, 71, of Colfax passed away peacefully at this home surrounded by his family on April 16, 2018. 

Randy was born on February 13, 1947 in Eau Claire, WI to Ivan De Moe and Beulah (Curtis) Bassett. He met the love of his life, B.J. (Elizabeth Swanson), at only 8 years old. They were married on April 2, 1965 in Kenosha, WI. They were happily married for 53 years. 

From the time Randy could walk, he was working, mostly as a cement mason. His true passion was custom painting cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. 

Randy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting with family and friends. He had quite the green thumb for gardening and landscaping. 

Randy was a great father to his daughter Kim (Dean) Logslett and son Randy (Krista) De Moe; grandfather to Lacey (Trevor), Kirk (Katie), Tanner (Heather), Paige (Graham), Haylie (Tarrell), and Sawyer (Brittany); great-grandfather to Madelyn, Mylah, Kambrie, Creslyn, and soon-to-be great-grandson. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his faithful fur buddies, Reggie & Fergus. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Grapevine Senior Center in Colfax, WI. 

C’est la vie (pronounced: say lah vee), or that’s life.
