Ginny loved going fishing with her sister Hazel Harrison.  She was an excellent seamstress and made all the clothes for her children.  She had a passion for gardening and loved to travel.  Ginny was an avid sports fan and most importantly a Minnesota Twins fan!  She and her husband, Lyndon enjoyed many vacations and days of fishing together.  Christmas was her favorite holiday.  Most of her family joined them on Christmas Eve for a supper of Ginny’s homemade dumplings with all the trimmings.

As a young adult, Ginny enjoyed roller skating.  She was a chaperone for skating parties with her grade school-aged children and later enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities.

Ginny was a happy, delightful person who made everyone feel welcome in her presence. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her!

Virginia is survived by her husband, Lyndon; children, Robert (Jan) Marko, Donna (Paul) Hedlund, Michael (Carolyn) Schlough, Barb (Randy) Dahms and son-in-law Jim Swanepoel; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
