Boyceville PTA launches shoe drive fundraiser to raise money for Boyceville area students

BOYCEVILLE – Boyceville PTA is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser starting March 12th to raise funds for student activities and events. The PTA will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes collected, as Funds2Orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes.

Anyone can help by donating gently worn, used and new shoes at various Boyceville locations including Tiffany Creek Elementary, Boyceville High School, Cenex, Peoples State Bank, and St. Luke’s Parish.

“We are excited about our shoe drive,” said Katie Mrdutt, Boyceville PTA President. “We know that many people have extra shoes in their closets and why not donate them to a great cause? By doing so, we raise money for our students and provide them opportunities they may otherwise not have.”

By donating gently worn, used and new shoes to the Boyceville PTA, the shoes will be given a second chance and make a difference in other’s lives.
