MARK H. JOHNSON

Mark H. Johnson, 64, of Colfax passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at home with his wife and grandson by his side.

He was born on November 22, 1953, to Howard and Jeanie Johnson, in Tyler, MN. Mark was a foreman for a highway paint crew up until he retired in 2012. On March 9, 1991 Mark married Bonnie Young and together they co-parented their 5 children. Mark spent his free time wood working, skiing, and taking his grandchildren to Disney World. He also enjoyed playing music, model trains and working around the yard.

Mark is survived by his wife Bonnie, his brother Paul (Karen) Johnson and two sisters Kathy (David) Rupprecht, and Karen Rugh. His children Kristen (Jon) Hiitola, Scott (Crystal) Hovland, Christopher (Amy) Johnson, Michael (Jena) Johnson, Thomas Johnson and 12 Grandchildren that he loved to the moon and back.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Craig.

The Celebration of Life will be at The Florian Gardens in Eau Claire February 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
