WAUNAKEE, WI. Victoria (Kozub) Schultz, age 96, passed away December 31, 2017 at Homestead Living Care Center in Waunakee, WI. Vicky will be remembered for her sweet smile and kindness to all.

She was born May 12th, 1921 on the family farm near Hawkins, WI. Vicky was the seventh of eight children born to Frank and Victoria Kozub and was the first of her siblings to graduate from Hawkins High School. She moved to Milwaukee, WI and worked in both chocolate and hosiery factories. During World War II Vicky enlisted in the Women’s Army Corps (WACs) in 1945 and served as a US Army Medical Technician at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Denver, CO.

Vicky married Grant Schultz of Glenwood City in 1947. They purchased a farm near Wilson, WI., and built it into a large poultry farm operation. They moved to Pueblo West, Colorado, in 1971 where Vicky enjoyed an active retirement being involved with St. Paul the Apostle Church, Daughters of Isabella and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Vicky loved the sunny climate of Colorado and enjoyed gardening, golfing, sewing and traveling. She was an avid Bridge, Pinochle, and 500 card player. Vicky returned to Wisconsin in 2001. 

Vicky was preceded in death by her husband, Grant; her parents; 6 siblings; and 14 In-laws. She is survived by a son, Jon (Suzanne) Schultz;  daughters, Jacalyn Schultz (Roger Bindl), Paula Schultz (David Hillman), and Rebecca (Kim) Harrington; grandchildren Ron, Eric, Yelana, John, Peter, Svetlana, Alexandra, and Evgenia; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Georgia Erickson.

A funeral & luncheon is planned early in May 2018, at Saint Paul Believers Fellowship Church, St. Paul, MN; with a military burial at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Bloomington, MN.
