ALLAN WILBUR PRINSEN

Allan Wilbur Prinsen, age 69, of Emerald WI passed away peacefully at home on December 17th, 2017. 

He was born to Wilmar and Marcella (Kiekhofer) Prinsen on April 29th, 1948 in New Richmond WI.  Allan went to school and graduated from Glenwood City High School.  He married his loving wife Ann(Cormican) Prinsen on October 4th, 1980 and had 5 wonderful children. Allan had many jobs throughout his life, but the one he loved most was being a truck driver. He drove long haul for MTS Trucking out of Wilson WI for 22 years, and was very proud of being awarded for driving over 1 million safe miles and many other safe driving awards. 

Allan is survived by his wife Ann (Cormican) Prinsen. Children: Patrick (Melissa Coleman) Prinsen; James (Andrea) Prinsen; Cory (Heather) Prinsen; Samantha (Kelly) Arneson. Brothers: Arnold Prinsen; Ernie Prinsen; Leon (Judy) Prinsen; Carl (Diane) Prinsen; Randy (Dawn) Prinsen; 12 Grandchildren; Many other family and friends including best friend Roger Jurek and extra daughter Cicely (Doug) Erbe. 

Allan is preceded in death by his father, mother, father in law, mother in law, son Matthew, nephew Brandon Klatt, great niece Zoe Burns, and many other family members and friends. 

Funeral Services will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City WI. A meal to follow will from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the event center at Shotgun Suzie’s Saloon in Emerald WI.
