RANDALL NYLES ROEMHILD

Randall Nyles Roemhild died suddenly at his home in Prairie Farm on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the age of 68.

He is survived by his loving wife Janice of 49 years. They were married in Prairie Farm at United Lutheran Church on December 14th, 1968.

Randy was born on November 7th, 1948 in Amery, Wisconsin; for the last 17 years he worked as a Program Director for the Jumpstart Program at WestCAP. He took pride in helping others, and his job was one he looked forward to each day.

Randy enjoyed sports and coaching, and he also had a passion for music. He found joy in being a fundamental part of the Prairie Farm youth baseball program. Randy spent many years as the Youth in Christ Advisor at Prairie Farm Lutheran Church. He also was a member of several different bands over the years, and his passion was spreading God’s word with the group Cornerstone. His days and nights were spent traveling to sporting events to watch his grandkids play ball. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandpa. To him, nothing was more important than family.

Randy is lovingly remembered by his wife Janice of Prairie Farm; sons Mark (Amy) Roemhild of Baldwin, Brian (Corrie) Roemhild of Boyceville, Michael (Afton) Roemhild of Menomonie; daughter Michelle (Andy) Meyer of Wausau; grandchildren Jase, Jorie & Jakson Meyer and Sidney, Ross, Marney, Braden, Carson & Logan Roemhild; parents Alton & Jean Roemhild of Prairie Farm; brothers Kevin (Linda) Roemhild of Mohave Valley, AZ, Jeff (Mary) Roemhild of Boyceville, Scott (Renee) Roemhild of Fall Creek, sisters Darcele (Tim) Hafele of Prairie Farm & Kris (Mike) Broten of Prairie Farm; mother-in-law Palma Krisik of Baldwin; brother-in-law Jeff Lien of Hartland, WI; sister-in-law Laurie (Ron) Blum of Chanhassen, MN, several nieces, nephews & cousins

Randy is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. 

The funeral service for Randall Roemhild will be held at United Lutheran Church of Prairie Farm, Wisconsin on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Erin Koster and Rev. Brad Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery in the Town of Prairie Farm. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. at United Lutheran Church of Prairie Farm and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday morning.
