ANNE M. OHMAN

Anne M. Ohman, of Glenwood City, WI passed away on December 28, 2016 at the age of 80 years and 15 days at the Comforts of Home in Baldwin, WI with hospice.

Anne Marie Meacham was born December 13, 1936, the daughter of Condon and Helen (Morland) Meacham in Downing, WI. Following her schooling Anne married John E. Ohman on November 12, 1955 and they spent most of their lives on the dairy farm in the Glenwood City area.

Living in this rural community they were blessed to be surrounded by family and friends, where they raised their two sons Bruce and John.

Anne is preceded in death by her parents; husband John “Swede” Ohman; four brothers Leo, Reverend Walter, Dean and Clinton Meacham; and sisters Frances Chandler and Margaret Buxton Lawler.

Anne is survived by sons, Bruce (Sherril) Ohman of Emerald, WI and John (Kristi) Ohman of Menomonie, WI; grandchildren Tricia Thorson (Tom), Stephanie (Adam) Kahler, John Ohman and Jacob Ohman; great-grandchildren Cameron Thorson, Lincoln and Vivienne Kahler; and sister Connie Hurtgen of Downing, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Glenwood City, WI with Reverend Timothy Matthaei officiating. Burial was in the Mound Cemetery Downing, WI. Friends were able to call at the church one hour prior Saturday at church. Funeral arrangements by the Anderson Funeral home in Glenwood City, WI.
