Local volunteers exceed goal of collecting Christmas gifts for 7,600 children

GLENWOOD CITY — The volunteers from Glenwood City and surrounding communities have collected enough gift-filled shoeboxes to reach more than 7,600 children in need through the Samaritan’s Purse project, Operation Christmas Child.
