JANE L. SCHILLINGER

Jane L. Schillinger, age 76 of Woodville, WI died Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in River Falls, WI.

Jane was born November 11, 1940 in Waconia, MN to Elmer and Ann (Rath) Hoese. She was baptized in Mayor, MN and later confirmed at North Rush River Lutheran Church in Baldwin, WI.

She attended school in Clear Lake, Glenwood City and Hammond School districts. Jane married Merwyn H. Schillinger on July 28, 1956. They lived in several communities from Clear Lake, Glenwood City Hammond and most of her time in Woodville, WI where she loved gardening. She had many beautiful flower beds, raising most of the plants herself, which she shared with friends. She loved to watch and feed the wild birds as well as care for her indoor feathered friends especially Buster. She also enjoyed reading, painting ceramics and lawn ornaments.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Evelyn Hoese, stepfather Vern Klaustermeier, grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Paul Hoese and Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Rath and special friend George Tuttle.

Jane is survived by five children: Teresa (Jesus) Silva of Clear Lake, WI, Linda (Robert) Kuhn of Woodville, WI Richard (Jeanne) Schillinger of Glenwood City, WI, Judy (Leon) Prinsen of Prairie Farm, WI and Gary (Melissa) Schillinger of Woodville, WI; grandchildren: Jonathon Kuhn, Crissa Kuhn, Brandon Schillinger, Brittany Schillinger Erdman, Jennifer Prinsen, Kristina Prinsen, Andrew Prinsen and Sarah Prinsen, Angel Wolske, Andrew Roth and Amanda Zielinski;  20 great-grandchildren; brother Dean (Janice) Hoese of Excelsior, MN; special friends Janice Schillinger and Genny Fern; and feathered Companion Buster. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday December 3, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville, WI with Reverend Andrew Boe officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in the Township of Springfield, WI. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City on Friday December 2, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
