EVERETT “OLE” MITCHEL SIMONSON

Everett “Ole” Mitchel Simonson was born in Emerald, Wisconsin on September 26, 1939.

He was the son of Melvin and Laura (Blosmoe) Simonson. He attended rural Roddis school in Emerald and Glenwood City High School. He served his country in the US Army stationed at Stuttgart, Germany from 1963 to 1965. He returned home and spent his life on the farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the casino. Everett passed away at the Western Wisconsin Health Center in Baldwin, Wisconsin on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the age of 76 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, sister Bonnie Steinert and a brother Rodney “Butch” Simonson. Surviving family members include his son Michael Everett Maes, brother Sheldon (Ruth) Simonson, sisters: Sharon Fortunak, Judy (Matt) Brockway and Gloria (Kenrad) Anderson as well as many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, Wisconsin on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Wilman officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Deer Park, Wisconsin. Arrangements are with the Williamson-White Funeral Home and Cremation services in Amery.
