DELLA AMELIA TIMM
Della Amelia Timm, age 105 of Burnsville MN, formerly of Woodville, Wisconsin died Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Ebenezer Care Center in Burnsville.
Della was born at Forest Township in St. Croix County on June 7, 1911, the daughter August A and Bertha Westman Shultz. She was baptized and confirmed and a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Woodville. She was united in marriage to Orlin Timm on June 21, 1927 at Minneapolis, MN. The marriage was blessed with a son Donald.
Orlin and Della owned Timm’s Electric in Woodville WI, for 17 years. They retired after selling the business and moved to Bloomington, MN. Della loved to raise flowers, especially violets. She loved to sew and also did the bookkeeping for their Electric Motor business.
She was preceded in death by her husband Orlin who passed away in 1985; son Donald and daughter-in–law Lila; David Leifermann, husband of granddaughter Sandra; and two sisters Luella Schultz and Helen Ryan.
Della is survived by four grandchildren: Donald (Shannon), Richard (Nancy), Sandra Lifermann and Robert; six great-great grandchildren Eric (Megan), Sara (Blake), Laura, Alissa (Eric), Mathew (Kim) and Jeffery (Liz); and eight great-great-great grandchildren Elizabeth, Nathaniel, Annde, Hayden, Luke, Lila, Victoria and Violet.
Funeral service for Della will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 3rd, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home at Baldwin, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral at the O’Connell’s Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be in the Glenwood City Cemetery with her family service as casket bearers. Funeral services entrusted to the the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin.
