George E. Tuttle, age 76, of Glenwood City, WI died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Westfield Hospital in New Richmond, WI.
George was born October 18, 1939 in Glenwood City, WI to John and Margaret (Klinger) Tuttle. Following his schooling George went to work at Andersen Windows and later at Sons Tool before retiring.
George married Marcie Kuehl on August 27, 1960. He enjoyed camping, fishing and tubing. He also enjoyed playing cards, watching NASCAR racing and dirt track racing. He loved spending time at happy hour and fish fries with family, friends and neighbors at the Happy Hour Shack.
George is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kathleen Luepke and Carol Tuttle, brother Robert Tuttle and great-granddaughter Allison Everts.
George is survived by three children: Dan (Kathy) Tuttle, Lynette Schug and Barb “Bean” (Joe) Rivard; ten grandchildren: Jeffrey (Jamey) Tuttle, Cory (Shelley) Delong, Mackenzie (Adrian) Langness, Trevor (Alison) Schug, Trent (Betsy) Schug, Travis Schug, Laurena Schug, Jeremy (Lindsay) Johnson, Jennifer Johnson and Justin (Brittany) Johnson; great-grandchildren Avery Schug, Michael & John Prieve, Austin, Calli & Wyatt Benson, Owen Tuttle, Jacob & Rylan Johnson, Kaden Johnson and Chayse Peterson; special friend Jane Schillinger; special daughters “Frog & Josie” and beloved dog Sam. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Glenwood City with Fr. John Long as celebrant. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral in Glenwood City on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to the family.
