Raymond A. Koser, age 72, formerly of Glenwood City, WI died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Ray was born August 26, 1944 in Chicago, IL to Mural and Mildred (Dietrick) Koser. Following his schooling he entered the U.S. Air Force where he served from 1962 to 1964. Ray married Jean Krizan on June 5, 1965 in Glenwood City. They made their home in Racine, WI where he worked at Hamilton Beach. In 1966 he went to work for Minneapolis Moline until 1971. Ray later went to work at Nor Lake in Hudson, WI. until retiring in 2006.
Ray enjoyed fishing.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents Mural and Mildred Koser, father-in-law Art Krizan and nephew Mike.
Ray is survived by his wife of 51 years Jean; sons Ray Koser Jr. and Randy (Wendy) Koser; three grandchildren Mike (Nicaela) Koser, Jessica and Jennifer Koser. Great grandson Logun; sister Judy (Jim) Witthoft; mother-in-law Helen Krizan; brother and sister-in-law Linda Krizan and Pete Krizan; nieces and nephews Mary, Myra, Marcy, Jenny, Pete Jr. Joey and Jesse. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 25, 2016 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI with Reverend Diane House officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Glenwood Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call 11 to 1 on Saturday.
