JORDIS NELSON

Friends of Jordis Nelson are invited to a short burial dedication at 11 a.m., April 19, at Sherman Cemetery. A potluck lunch follows at noon at St. Luke Catholic Church, Boyceville.

Jordis passed away on November 7, 2015, at her home in Cottage Grove, MN.

Jordis Hoitomt was born in 1931 to Morris and Stella Hoitomt of Boyceville. She graduated from Boyceville High School in 1949. Jordis married Donald Lerch in 1952 and lived in the area until 1965. Donald died in 1972. She married Keith Nelson in 1975 – Keith died shortly after Jordis, in January 2016.

She is survived by children, Connie (Mike) Shirkey and Donovan Lerch; sister, Gerane Stansbury; stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
