LORRIANE CLARA (THOMPSON) WEBSTER
Lorraine Clara (Thompson) Webster, age 84, went to be with her Lord on February 23, 2016 at the Neighbors of Dunn County.
Lorraine was born March 26, 1931 in Washburn Co., WI to Albert and Ester Catherine (Welsh) Thompson. After her mother’s death she was raised by her uncle and aunt Ludwig and Julia Thompson in Seeley, WI.
Lorraine married Russell Webster on April 30, 1949 at the Forest United Methodist Church. Together they farmed in nearby Emerald, WI and raised nine children. During their marriage, they enjoyed traveling to NFO meetings and visiting their son in Guatemala. In the early 1990s, they retired from farming and moved into an apartment in Glenwood City.
After moving she enjoyed growing flowers, visiting with neighbors, listening to music and babysitting her grandchildren. Most of all, Lorraine enjoyed being around her family and friends.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, uncle Ludwig and aunt Julia, husband Russell, son Albert, daughters in law Roxanne and Mary, great grandchildren William and Aaron Webster, sister Anna and brother George.
Lorraine is survived by her children: Steven Webster (James Deitrich), Barbara Webster, Paul Webster, David Webster, Susan (Stanley Jr.) Larson, John (Amanda Anderson) Webster, Daniel Webster and Miriam (Brett) Mattison; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Chris) Pflanzer, Christopher Larson, Summer Webster, Amanda (Shawn) Millermon, Actavius Longfellow and Connor Anderson; four great-grandchildren: Savanna, Elijah, Baylie and Jordyn Millermon. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Forest with Reverend John Hazen officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Emerald, WI. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
