ARNOLD HERBERT HINTZMAN

Arnold Herbert Hintzman, age 72 of Clayton, WI died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at his home.

Arnold was born April 25, 1943 in Boyceville, WI to Herbert and Bessie (Marlett) Hintzman. He graduated from Clayton High School in 1961. After graduation he joined and served in the US Army from 1965 until he was discharged in 1967.

He returned home and began farming with his father and continued farming until 2001 when he retired.

Arnold enjoyed collecting tractors, knives and continuing his mother’s salt and pepper shaker collection.

Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, nephew Jeffrey Rice and great nephew Cole Struemke.

He is survived by his sister Deloris (Vilas) Rice, brother Lowell (Lorraine) Hintzman, nieces and nephews: Wanda Rice, Gary (Cindy) Rice, Pam (Wayne) Sigsworth, Barbara Rice, Lanny (Shirley) Hintzman, Lona (Dennis) Wirth and Lois (Duane) O’Flanagan. He is further survived by many great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held  pm 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI with Reverend Diane House officiating. Intement of cremains will be in the Sherman Cemetery in the Township of Sherman, WI at a later date. Friends were able  to call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.
