EARL SARAUER

Earl Sarauer, 93, of Cooks Valley, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016, at the Colfax Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Colfax.

Earl was born January 13, 1923 in Cooks Valley to Adolph and Rose (Rubenzer) Sarauer. He married Donna Meinen on April 29, 1952, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Cooks Valley. Earl and Donna farmed in Cooks Valley their entire life.

Earl is survived by his children, Patty (Mike) LaGesse of Bloomer, Tom Sarauer of MN, Allen (Mary) Sarauer of Bloomer, Don (Judy) Sarauer of Colfax, Nancy Secraw of Westfield, WI, Mike (Candy) Sarauer of Bloomer, Steve Sarauer of Chippewa Falls, and Jane (Brian) Buchholtz of Bloomer; sisters, Evelyn Casselmen, Angeline Khenr; brother, Kenneth Sarauer; grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Earl is preceded in death by his parent, Adolph and Rose Sarauer; sisters, Marie Kolmer, Dorothy VanLanen; brothers, Emil Sarauer, Ed Sarauer; and 2 grandsons, Travis LaGesse and Jason Sarauer.

Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016, at Schriver-Thompson Funeral Home, Bloomer, with Deacon Dan Rider officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service at Schriver-Thompson Funeral Home, Bloomer. Burial will be held at a later date.
