LYNDA E. (NORTON) BUTLER

Lynda E. (Norton) Butler, age 70, of Beldenville, WI formerly of Glenwood City passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 with her family by her side, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born February 8, 1945 in Menomonie, WI to Ransom and Genevieve (McCarthy) Norton. Lynda grew up in the Menomonie area and after graduating from Menomonie High School she attended UW-Stout.

Lynda married the love of her life on Oct. 9, 1965 when she married Johnny Butler. They had three daughters and four grandchildren.

Lynda enjoyed spending time with her family especially her kids and grandkids. She had a special little dog, Sir Teddy, she thought the world of. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening and road trips.

Lynda will be missed dearly by her daughters, Tammy Butler of Beldenville, Lisa (Tony) Weinzirl of Centuria and Heidi Butler (fiancé John Webb) of Beldenville; her four grandchildren, Troy Butler and girlfriend Becky Schnagl of Woodville, Gina Martell of Beldenville, Brittany and Brett Weinzirl of Centuria; her sister, Lucretia Bolle; a sister-in-law, Carol Belch; long-time family friend, Charles Scott; her beloved little dog, Sir Teddy; as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Butler; her parents, Ransom and Genevieve Norton; her in-laws, John and Gladys Butler; a brother, Jackie Norton; two brothers-in-law, Donald Bolle and Archie “Buck” Belch; and infant granddaughter, Angel Weinzirl.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, with Pastor LeRoy Nelson officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be in Ford Cemetery in the Town of Menomonie, Dunn County, WI.
