LINDA A. LAFAVE

Linda A. LaFave, age 68 of Monticello, MN, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 after a very courageous battle with cancer. She went peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.

Linda was born September 9, 1947 in Menomonie, WI to Gustav and Rebecca (Mehleis) Sempf. She attended Glenwood City Schools graduating with the class of 1965. On October 28, 1967, Linda married the love of her life and soul mate. Their love was like no other. Together they had two sons.

Linda touched the lives of many people with her quiet generosity, thoughtful advice, good work ethic and a fun, loving personality until the end. Her smile was the best.

Linda was preceded in death by her father: Gustav W. Sempf. She is survived by her husband: Joe; sons: Dan (Denise), and Tim; grandchildren: Brittany (Andy), and Brandon; great-grandson: Braxton; mother: Becky; brother: Bill; sister: Kathy (Doug) Standaert as well as many other relatives and friends.

Per Linda’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. The family would like to thank Northland Hospice for the care and comfort they provided.
