RICHARD R. KEELEY

Richard R. Keeley, age 74, of Grantsburg, WI died Saturday October 10, 2015 at Unity Hospital in Fridley, MN.

Richard was born May 1, 1941 in Knapp, WI to Edwin and Edith (Swensen) Keeley. He worked as a milk hauler, in the cheese factory, a logger and in landscaping. He spent 11 years as a supervisor at Friday Canning in New Richmond, WI and 11 years at Polaris before retiring. Richard married Corrine Christopherson on October 1, 1982 in Balsam Lake, WI. He enjoyed gardening and tending to his flower beds. He enjoyed his cats and raised chickens. He liked fishing and hunting.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Rolland and Michael, brothers-in-law Gary and Neil Christopherson, step-children Mike and Kevin Bottolfson and Dawn Schmidt.

Richard is survived by his wife, Corrine; children: Rick Keeley, Sherry (Duane) Ullom, Brenda Keeley, Penny (Mark) Pierson, Richard Keeley Jr. and Tim Keeley; step-children: Lori (Craig) Swanson, Kent Bottolfson, Brenda (Richard) Rowell and Troy Bottolfson; 32 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Sherman (Audrey) Keeley, Butch (Margie) Keeley and Darlene (Ed) Waters. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services were held Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI with Reverend Diane House officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Emerald, WI at a later date.
