FRANCES ROSE (KOSHAREK) REYNOLDS

Boyceville – Frances Rose Reynolds, age 95, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2015 at Wellington Place in Stevens Point, WI with her daughters at her bedside.

She was born on November 11, 1919, the daughter of Oscar and Sophie Kosharek. Frances graduated with a teaching certificate from Dunn County Normal School in Menomonie. She taught in one-room schools in the area for many years finishing her career in education as the librarian at Boyceville Community Schools and the Boyceville Public Library.

On May 23, 1942, she was united in marriage to LaVerne J. Reynolds at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Menomonie. They enjoyed 48 years together at their home in Boyceville until his death in 1990. She was an active member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church. Besides spending time with her family, Frances enjoyed baking, sewing, reading, traveling, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughters SuEllen (Dean) Isaacson, Jeanette (Jack) Friess of Stevens Point, special niece Jackie Crosby, four grandchildren Jodene (Todd) Bast, Jennifer (Dave) Runde, Jacob Friess, and Jamie Friess. She was “Grandma Great” to Anna, David, and Maria Bast, Kennedy and Isaac Runde, and Blake Friess.

Also surviving are her sisters-in-law Betty Dole, Delores Brezina, and nieces Rebecca (Tim) Greenway, Karen (Kim) Fruit, Rhonda Reynolds, and nephew Roger Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Boyceville at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Tiffany Cemetery in Boyceville. A luncheon will follow at the church. Pisarski Funeral Homes of Stevens Point are honored to be serving the family.
