Stephen H. Olson, age 60, of Glenwood City, Wisconsin died Friday, August 28, 2015 at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Steve was born October 18, 1954 to Stanley and Arlene (Standaert) Olson in Baldwin, Wisconsin. He grew up and attended school at Glenwood City and graduated with the Glenwood City High School, Class of 1973.
After high school, Steve had various factory jobs and worked as a logger. He was later self employed as a truck driver and retired a number of years ago due to his health. He loved bow hunting, taking care of his home, and especially caring for his family.
Preceding him in death were his parents and their spouses; Stanley and Eva Olson and Arlene and Walt Peterson; and a granddaughter Tatanna Roberts.
Survivors include his wife Beverly of Glenwood City; 6 children: Amber Roberts of Oologah, OK; Jennifer (Jeff) Hair of Eleva, WI; James (Jessica) Kloss of Osseo, WI; Brady Kloss of Glenwood City, WI; Amanda Kloss-Olson of Glenwood City; and Stephen (Stevie) Olson of Glenwood City; 13 grandchildren; 8 brothers and sisters; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Glenwood City.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. A prayer service will be held on at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
