TERRANCE EDWARD HOFF
Terrance Edward Hoff
July 26, 1946 – July 22, 2015
Our Father in heaven called Terry home the evening of July 22, 2015 in Webster, Texas after a long battle with tumors and cancer. Terry was 68 years old.
Terry was born in Menomonie, WI to Allen and Myrtle Hoff. Terry graduated from Boyceville High in 1964, and then received his associate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
He married Ardis (Fayerweather) in 1966 – three children (Lori, Travis & Tracey) were born from this union. He worked as a manager at Tradehome Shoe stores in Eau Claire, WI; Superior, WI and Marshfield, WI.
Terry met his wife Anne Marie after moving to Reno, NV in 1985. There they raised their four children together and were foster parents to over 100 more. To continue the fight against Terry’s cancer, the couple moved to Houston, TX in Jan. 2015. They would’ve celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary together in August.
Terry was a real estate agent in Reno, NV however his passions were spending time with his children, grandchildren, and furry children (including the neighborhood squirrels and birds). Anyone who knew Terry, knew how much he enjoyed woodworking, playing and coaching softball, and that he could usually be seen with a coffee and donut in hand. He always said his proudest accomplishments in life were his children. Terry was a devoted man of God and served as a faithful member of Harvest Family Fellowship in Reno, NV and Calvary Chapel Houston in Friendswood, TX.
Terry is survived by his wife Anne Marie of Webster, TX; sons Travis (Kim) Hoff of Bloomington, MN; Christian Hoff of Reno, NV; daughters Lori (Jeff) Lien of Barron, WI; Tracey (Lance) Kalaus of Shakopee, MN; Breann (Joe) Adrian of Reno, NV; Molly Hoff of Hillsboro, OR; Nicole Hoff (Ray Kraemer) of Kemah, TX; brother Allen (Elaine) Hoff of Knapp, WI; sister Diane (Wendell) Andrews of Wheeler, WI; nine beautiful grandchildren (Granddaughters: Kyler Hoff, Courtney Lien, Krista Lien, Sawyer Hoff, Sierra Lien and Grandsons: Caiden Hoff, Logan Kalaus, Greyson Hoff, Gavin Kalaus.) and a host of nieces and nephews.
A gathering to Celebrate Terry’s Life will be held Saturday, August 15th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI. Family and friends are invited to attend. The family would like to thank all those who have sent prayers and have helped throughout this journey. Terry will be greatly missed and always remembered as an inspiration to us all.
