Ralph Rudolph Lange, age 85 of Dallas, WI died on June 25, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems – Barron.
He was born January 21, 1930 at home in Ridgeland, WI to Fred and Mary Lange. He was their only child.
Ralph was a dairy farmer, fisherman, baseball player, baseball coach, town of Wilson chairman and worker at the ASCS office. Ralph was an avid fisherman; he would constantly ask people “Have you been out fishing lately”? Not only was Ralph a man of the water, he was a man of dirt, be this farming, haying, or teaching kids how to play baseball. Most importantly he was a family man. He married LaVonne Kay O’Flanagan on March 13, 1954 and they were married 61 years.
Ralph is survived by his wife Kay Lange; son, Mark (Sandra) Lange; daughters: Rebecca (Michael) Steffe, and Wendy Turner; eight grandchildren: Dustin Lange, Kaleb Steffe, Keinn Steffe, Kyler Steffe, Aric Frasl, Bryan McKay, Chase McKay, and Derek McKay.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mary Lange.
A memorial service took place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 20232 80th Street, Bloomer, WI 54724.
