Myrna was born on the family farm in Stanton Township, near Knapp Wisconsin, on Dec. 30, 1923. She attended Knapp Graded School and graduated from Menomonie High School in 1941. She lived and worked in Menomonie until 1951, when she moved to Minneapolis and became a ‘city girl’. She worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses, retiring from Super Radiator in 1991. Myrna liked to travel, was proud of her Norwegian and Danish heritage, enjoyed her weekly phone calls with Jim and Mary, loved her cats, and despite living most of her life in Minnesota, was a life-long Packer fan. Her heart was forever in the beautiful Knapp hills where she grew up. Myrna’s Christian faith sustained her throughout her life.
