William R. “Bill” Lee, age 64, of Boyceville, WI died Thursday, April 24, 2015 at MCHS Eau Claire, WI.
Bill was born August 8, 1950 at Memorial Hospital in Menomonie, WI to Charles and Helen (Stevens) Lee. Upon completing his education Bill was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served during the Vietnam War from March of 1970 until November 1971.
Bill married Cindy Hiben October 7, 1972 at the United Methodist Church in Boyceville, WI. He worked doing excavating, concrete work and logging. Then he finished his career working for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk in Eau Claire, WI, retiring after 26 years in 2013.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed taking trips doing this with his sons and family. In retirement he enjoyed driving the tractor working the fields.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Raymond and Lucille Hiben and godson Daniel Hiben.
Bill is survived by wife Cindy Lee; sons Chad (Sheila), Kerby (Darlene) and Clinton; grandchildren Morgan & Kaitlin Lee, Curtis (Melissa, Natalie and Keith) Nelson; great-grandchildren Steven, Grace and Jack Nelson; brothers and sister James (Terri), Bob (Dolly), Richard (Linda), Stan (Tina) and Jane (John) Anderson; brother- and sister-in-law; Jerry (Julie) Hiben, Sue (Jeff) Booth. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyceville, WI with Reverend Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
