Doris M. Schwartz, age 90 of Woodville, died peacefully Friday, April 24th, 2015 at the Parkview Campus in Woodville.

Doris was born on February 5, 1925 in Emerald Township; the daughter of Amos and Ethel (Taylor) Stork. Being raised on the farm, she attended Bell School before meeting and later marrying Harvey John Schwartz on August 21, 1945. This union would be further blessed with children Kenneth, Joyce, Daniel & Susan.

Doris cherished her family and took the greatest pride in helping raise their children. She loved gardening; canning or freezing her vegetable bounties was most joyful. She was an excellent cook who loved entertaining her friends and family. As, for Doris, the love of the Lord was most evident and her fellowship with the Lord was most important.

Doris will remain in the hearts of her children; Kenneth (Lila) Schwartz of Woodville, Joyce Schwartz of Woodville, Susan (Gary) Mueller of Eagle River; grandchildren Chad (Marjan) Schwartz, Daryn (Wendy) Schwartz, Katrina (Jackson) Gunnarson, Danica (Corey) Wilson, Brook Mueller, Megan (Matthew) Larson, Karisa Muller; great grandchildren Skye, Canyon, Annika, Aurora, Braxton, Brenna, Rileigh, Carter, Crew, Tabor, Archie; siblings Ben Stork of Mauston, Donna Mansur of Menomonie, Carol Pontius of Mesa, Arizona. She is preceded in death by her husband Harvey, son Daniel; siblings Dale and Willis Stork.

Funeral service for Doris will be 11 a.m. on Friday, May 1st at the Baldwin American Legion Post, 410 Maple Street in Baldwin. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin as well as one hour prior to the service at the American Legion on Friday morning. Burial will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery in Dorchester, Wisconsin.
