DONALD W. IVERSON

Donald W. Iverson, 91, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Lyngblomsten Care Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Donald was born September 21, 1923, in  Colfax to Carl and Mildred (Jacobson) Iverson. He graduated from Colfax High School in 1941 and from UW-Stout in 1945.

Don proudly served his country as a P.38 pilot in the United States Air Force during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet, of 63 years, parents, and a brother Everette.

Don is survived by his daughters Debbie Iverson and Kathy (Glen) Winchell of St. Paul, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and many cousins.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, teacher and a friend to many.

A memorial service was held at the care center with the Rev. Bergeson officiating. Private interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.
