VELMA M. WIENKE

Velma M. Wienke, age 95 of Hudson, WI died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her home with hospice.

Velma was born January 25, 1920 in the Township of New Haven, WI to Charles and Gladys (Whistler) Stuart.

She worked at the Hudson Hospital and later at the Richardson Jewelry Store. Velma married Orlin Wienke on November 10, 1972 in Watertown, ND. She enjoyed baking and cooking for family and visitors. Family was very special to her.

Velma is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Gladys Ulberg and Betty Wienke; brothers Herb, Tom, Fred, Earl, and Jack; grandson Ricky Pittman; brothers- and sisters-in-law Arlis Hoff, Walter Ulberg, Mildred and Irene Stuart.

Velma is survived by husband Orlin Wienke of Hudson, WI; sons Ronald (Deborah) Pittman and Donald (Judy) Pittman; grandchildren Greg Pittman, David (Christine) Pittman, Angie (Adam) VanRanst and Joe Pittman (Malissa Kubarek); great-grandchildren Alexis Pittman, Allison VanRanst, Benjamin (Lindsey) Pittman, Derrick Weiss, Zach Pittman, Josh Pittman, Sawyer Pittman, Shiann Nerby and Cherokee Norell. Sister-in-law Alli Stuart; sister Pauline Hoff and brother Mike (Johnna) Stuart; special friend Ligia McLuen and dog Daisy Mae. She is further survived by  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Connorsville, WI with Pastor David Emmons officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI. and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Grace Lutheran Church Connorsville, WI.
