Boyceville Bits & Pieces – 3-25-2015

Like moths to a flame! For worm-free apples, make a trap as early as budding out.

Take 1 gallon plastic jug – cut an opening opposite the handle (this is so you can clean it out). The trap is hung by the handle.

Add equal parts of vinegar and water, and a few tablespoons of black molasses.

Check the traps weekly and remove dead moths. By fall you’ll be eating worm-free apples!

Also, the Boyceville Community Thrift Sale will be the third weekend in May. To get on the map call me at 715-308-9121.

God Bless,
Sharon
