JASPER “JACK” L. OLSON

Jasper “Jack” L. Olson, age 87, of Township of Sheridan, WI died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Glenhaven, Inc. in Glenwood City, WI with hospice.

Jack was born October 19, 1927 in Prairie Farm, WI to Martin and Katherine (McIntyre) Olson. Jack met and later married Ruth Canfield on August 19, 1946 in LaCrosse, WI. They farmed in the Township of Sheridan all his life and he also worked for his father-in-law at the Standard Station in Glenwood City.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.

Jack is survived by his wife Ruth; son and daughters Jerry Olson and wife Doreen, Jan L. Potter, Sandy Stoveren and husband Alvin, and Laural Jain and husband Bryan; grandchildren Shanon Olson and husband Ryan Carufel, Lauren Olson, Leslie Olson, Josh Allen and wife Nicole, Larry Allen, David Potter, Raven Lee Potter and husband Blake Seybolt and Tom Stoveren and wife April; great-grandchildren Adam, Nicholas, Jacob, Eric and Jordan Carufel, Sarah, Samantha, John and Justin Stoveren, Harmony, Dezmond, Raven and Damian Allen; sister Jean Roemhild and husband Alton. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. Burial will be in the Vanceburg Cemetery, Township of Sheridan, WI.
