KATHLEEN M. WARNER

Kathleen M. Warner, age 85, of Prairie Farm, WI died Friday, March 6th, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Barron.

She was born April 11, 1929 to Gilbert & Ethel (Hanson) Wendlandt at Sand Creek, WI & was raised in the Cook’s Valley area. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1946 & then went on to attend Eau Claire Teachers College. She taught at the Vanceburg Grade School and during this time she met her future husband, Delton Warner. They were married on August 20, 1949 at Bloomer. Kathleen later received her Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Eau Claire & taught elementary school at Prairie Farm. She was active in her community & held various offices in the Vanceburg Homemakers Club, Royal Neighbors of America, AMPI Women, the Prairie Farm American Legion Auxiliary & the Prairie Farm Civic Club. She was also an active member of Faith United Methodist Church in Prairie Farm & the Ladies Aid.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Delton of May 16, 2012, great granddaughters: Bridgette Owens & Maya Cacioppo, sisters: Goldeen (Jim) Goodfellow & Lynda (Frank) Wilcox & brother-in-law: Gaylord O’Flanagan. She is survived by her sons: Gary (Mary) Warner of Turtle Lake, Rodney Warner of Prairie Farm & Richard (Cheryl) Warner on Prairie Farm, daughter: Dellene (Dan) Miller of Prairie Farm, grandchildren: Elise (Shawn) Owens, Stephanie (Mario) Cacioppo, Amanda (Nate) Pieper, Kari (Nevin) Logterman, Scott (Monica) Miller, Katrina (Cory) Voeltz, Noah & Justine Warner, great grandchildren: Cooper Owens, Sophia, Gavin & Dominic Cacioppo, Bryton, Korah & Bennett Logterman, Jack & Reid Miller, Austin & Kiley Voeltz & Claire Pieper, sister-in-law: Margaret O’Flanagan, as well as many other relatives & friends.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 9th at United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm with Rev. Tim Matthaei officiating & interment in Vanceburg Cemetery in the Town of Sheridan, rural Prairie Farm. Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas & also for the hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
