Another successful Boyceville Spirit of Christmas has come and gone and I would like to take a moment to recognize and thank some key people, businesses and organizations that make this possible.
First I would like to thank the volunteers who serve on the Boyceville Community Action Club. You are a great bunch of people to work with and this community is fortunate that you give your time and resources.
I would like to thank Don Rose & the rest of the Village workers for everything they do to help as well. They are always available even when I have to make a very last minute phone call for help. Thank you!
I would like to thank Dan Brandenberg from TMS Tire & Auto for making the fire pit for the community bonfire, and all of the other things you did as well. I would like to thank Specialty Pallets for donating pallets to burn, Downing Tractor Parts for donating the tractor tire to make the fire ring. Thanks to the United Methodist Church for the donation of the smores for the bonfire, Peoples State Bank for donating the hotdogs and the ornaments given to the kids at the bonfire, the Cub Scouts for making the sticks to roast the goodies on and to Tanner Sinz for the firewood for the bonfire. I would also like to thank Chad Klatt and his family for bringing the hay bales for the live nativity and the bonfire. I know it’s a lot of work to haul those around a couple of times. Thanks to the Boyceville Lions Club for the Chili Feed and the help with the horse parade. And of course to all of our donors who help throughout the year to make this event possible. I’m sure that I have forgotten some people…you know who you are and believe me you are truly appreciated. I’m sorry if I missed you!
The Spirit of Christmas is a wonderful event that would not be possible without all of you. What a joyous event!
Best Wishes for a Happy New Year!
