Jane Kaye Tealey, 66, of Wausau died November 24, 2014 at 6:20 a.m. at the Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau.
She was born May 19, 1948 in La Crosse to Goldie Larson and the late Casper Greenhill. She went to the University of Eau Claire where she earned her Master’s Degree in Business Education with a minor in Spanish. She was a teacher for NTC for over 30 years. Jane married Frederick Tealey on February 27, 1971 in Colfax, Wisconsin.
Jane was a hard working loving mom and wife. She enjoyed being in her garden planting, weeding, and just smelling the dirt. She was a wonderful cook and hostess to many great parties. She was always thinking of others first and loved spending time with her two grandchildren. She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Wausau.
Jane is survived by her husband, Fred Tealey; daughter, Alison Simón; mother, Goldie Larson; two grandchildren, Fernando and Mayabella Simón all of Wausau; and one sister, Janet (Ed) Eisberner.
She was preceded in death by father, Casper Greenhill and step-father Raymond Larson.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 12 noon at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Wausau. Reverend Gary Froseth officiated. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery at a later date. Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau, assisted the family with arrangements.
