Jonathan D. Frank, age 59 of Forest, WI died on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Westfield’s Hospital in New Richmond, WI.

Jonathan David Frank was born on May 28, 1955 in Amery, WI , the son of Wilbur and Harriet (Suckow) Frank. He grew up in Forest Township, was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church there, and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1973. Jonathan attended UW-River Falls and earned a degree in Agricultural Engineering in 1977. He returned to Forest Township where he operated his family dairy farm, a century farm that began in 1901 by his grandfather Emil.

Jonathan was married to Mary Lanett Coleman on March 20, 1981 in Jeffersonville, IN. Together they owned and operated the family farm and had four children, Anne, David, John, & Daniel. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and restoring old cars and tractors. He served for 30 years as District President of the dairy co-op, Associated Milk Producers Inc. and has also served on the local Farmers Union Board. Jonathan was a member of the New Life Family Church in New Richmond, WI. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his infant son, John; parents, Wilbur & Harriet Frank; & brother Paul Frank

Jonathan is survived by his wife, Mary Lanett Frank of Forest, WI; children Anne Frank of Forest, WI, David Frank  of  Forest, WI, and Daniel Frank of Forest, WI; sister Donna Rae (Glenn) Badje of River Falls, WI; niece and nephew Holly (Adam) Cunningham and Andrew (Shanna) Badje; and many other family & friends

A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 4 p.m. from the Living Word Chapel in Forest, WI, with Pastor Brad Lawrence officiating. Music was provided by New Life Family Church Worship Team.

Pallbearers were Lee Tellijohn, Andrew Badje, Adam Cunningham, Mike Cress, Dan Rosen, David Rosen, and Mark Tellijohn.

Interment was at Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake, WI on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10 a.m.
