LARRY WALTER SCHLEUSNER

Larry Walter Schleusner, age 68, of Colfax, WI, joined the Lord, Thursday, October 30, 2014, after a long, hard battle with prostate cancer.

He was born November 23, 1945, to Millie (Schlough) and Lester Schleusner of Ridgeland. Larry enlisted in the Army National Guard while attending Barron High School. After graduating, he attended UW-River Falls, Majoring in Business and Ag. Science. Throughout the years, he was a banker, broker, and investment specialist. Larry had an adventurous spirit. He thoroughly enjoyed being with people. He loved helping family and friends with taxes, investments, fishing, hunting, camping, sausage making, and card playing. He married Linda (Sykora) the love of his life, on November 23, 1966.

Larry is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Linda (Sykora); daughter, Shari (Jon) Wendland of Tomahawk; son, Craig (Brenda) Schleusner of Colfax; three granddaughters, Megan, Morgan, and Macy Schleusner; mother, Millie (Schlough) Schleusner; sister, Linda (Jerry) Fellenz.
