The Boyceville and Glenwood City School Districts are inviting the public to their Veterans’ Day ceremonies on Tuesday, November 11.
In Glenwood City, their school wide ceremony is starting at 8:30 a.m. in the High School gymnasium. The entire student body and staff will be honoring our Veterans.
The Boyceville Elementary staff and students will be hosting their ceremony in the afternoon starting at 1:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.
The High School/Middle School will also be holding a special celebration to honor the Veterans in Middle School gymnatorium starting at 10:45 a.m.
There will be performances by both bands and choir as well as traditional and original readings.
Aside from the School ceremonies, there are also County celebrations.
In St. Croix County, there will be a program at 11:00 a.m. at the Government Center in Hudson.
Musical selections will be performed by the Hudson High School band. The Master of Ceremonies will be John Helgeson and Merlin Blaisdell will be the guest speaker.
The Veterans Memorial Honor Guard, composed of members for VFW Post 2115 and Otis H. King- American Legion Post 50 will provide military honors in tribute to the deceased veterans.
