WestCAP begins annual Holiday Gift Program

GLENWOOD CITY — The 2014 year is coming to a end with November already near, which means the Holiday season is upon us.

As we look forward to gathering with family and friends to share in the upcoming holiday celebrations, WestCAP wants to remind everyone that there are many who carry burdens during this time.

Through WestCAP’s Holiday Gift Program, those burdens can be lifted by local businesses and community members coming together to raise funds or donate gifts.

There are several ways to help the program including: (1) being a host for a tree to hang a child/children’s tags or a donation box, (2) picking up a tag for a child/children to adopt, (3) dropping off new, unwrapped toys or winter clothing and (4) mailing a monetary donation.

Gifts and donations can be brought to 525 2nd Street and/or mailed to PO Box 308, both in Glenwood City.

The program provides gifts to children in the Glenwood City, Boyceville and Spring Valley School Districts. In 2013, over 400 children were able to be provided with gifts.
